You can still make an impact on Butler students!

Here in the Division of Student Affairs, we support students from the moment they arrive on campus to the day they graduate. We believe in building a culture of innovation, equity, and operational excellence that fully supports the holistic well-being of our students.

BU|BeWell is just one of the many ways we support students throughout their academic careers. We empower learners to embrace and value difference, take responsibility for their own paths, grow as individuals, and productively contribute to their communities. Through BU|BeWell, we help students become the best version of themselves.

In Student Affairs, we are committed to:

  • Creating an inclusive campus community that emphasizes restructuring current practices, policies, and learned behaviors to create a safer and more welcoming environment for our community.
  • Believing that student learning is a comprehensive and transformative process that integrates curricular and co-curricular engagement.
  • Promoting holistic student safety by empowering members of the Butler community to create and maintain a campus culture that minimizes and intentionally addresses risks of harm to students' mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
  • Developing operational effectiveness through innovative processes, practices, and investments in our human talent, as well as creating and maintaining a culture predicated on holistic well-being, thoughtfulness, and integrity.
