Live Mascot Program
Over the last decade, the Butler University Live Mascot Program has earned a reputation among our peers in higher education for being original and innovative. From industry awards to front page spreads, evening news features, and social media vitality, Butler Blue IV and his predecessors have worked hard to set Butler's
Live Mascot Program apart from any other. All of this success has led to immeasurable notoriety for Butler and your support can help us do even more fun and exciting things to help advance the Butler name and mission.
Butler Blue III Portrait Unveiling
Help us unveil Butler Blue III's (Trip) official portrait! Painted by Anthony J. Padgett of Red Truck Productions, Trip's canvas now hangs in Robertson Hall next to his predecessor, Blue II. Once we reach $5,000 in gifts to the Live Mascot Program the curtain will come down to reveal Trip's likeness underneath. Make a gift and help unveil Trip's official portrait!
Since its founding in 2017, the Butler University Esports Program has grown to two varsity teams competing in BIG EAST competition as well as 10 club teams. The Esports program has played Host University to the first-ever Esports Combine for the city of Indianapolis, conducted virtual summer and winter esports camps for youth as well as provided curricular partnerships via the Fox Sports University program. With over 100 competitive and social gamers, the Butler Esports program continues to grow virtually and in-person. The Esports and Gaming Center was the first step toward providing a facility, equipment, and resources to expand the holistic vision of esports integration through competition, curriculum and community engagement on/off our campus. We look forward to taking our program to the NEXT LEVEL with your support! Don’t forget to follow us on social media @ButlerEsports, Go Dawgs!
