Butler Day of Giving 2019

Diane Meyer Simon ’68 has pledged $20,000 to the General Scholarship Fund. Her goal is to challenge Butler alumni and friends to participate on the day and make a gift. There will be four different two hour unlocking opportunities throughout Day of Giving to multiply your impact. During each two hour unlocking challenge, 100 gifts, of any size, will unlock $5,000 to support general scholarships, totaling $20,000. Please join Diane in making an impact on #BUDayofGiving!

Our Day of Giving goal is for the Butler community to make 1,000 gifts over 1,855 minutes that will directly impact Butler students, unlocking an additional $35,000 in general scholarship funding. Dean Stephen Standifird has pledged $10,000 to the Lacy School of Business Building Fund. His goal is to inspire 100 gifts, of any size, to the Lacy School of Business Building Fund. Once 100 gifts are reached, $10,000 will be unlocked and added to the fund. Please join Dean Standifird in making an impact on #BUDayofGiving!

Mark Harrison and Kathleen Martin-Harrison ‘79 are extending a second challenge to Butler alumni and friends to make a gift to the Sciences Expansion and Renovation project on Butler Day of Giving. Once 20 gifts have been made to the Sciences Expansion and Renovation project, an additional $2,000 will be unlocked for the project. Dean Jay Howard has pledged $2,500 to match gifts made to the Sciences Expansion and Renovation Fund. With this challenge, his goal is to inspire 100 percent of LAS faculty and staff to make a gift, of any size, to the Sciences Expansion and Renovation project by May 31, 2019. Butler University has steadily grown our financial aid allocation to nearly $78 million per year, but we need your help to further expand the financial resources available to our students and their families. Please make your Butler Fund gift so students can continue to experience the superior education that can only be offered at Butler University.
