Butler Day of Giving 2019

Over the course of 1,855 minutes, the Butler community came together to raise 1,173 gifts, totaling $311,183. Because of your generosity, you have made an impact on current and future students.

In the spirit of Butler's founding year,1855, Day of Giving will offer 1,855 minutes for Bulldogs to celebrate and give back to the University. Butler Day of Giving starts Wednesday, February 27 at 6:00 AM and will run until 12:55 PM on Thursday, February 28.

 

Our goal is for the Butler community to make 1,000 gifts during Day of Giving. Gifts made in celebration of Day of Giving will directly impact current and future students and have the potential to multiply through numerous matching and participating challenges.

 

Share your love for Butler by downloading a Butler Day of Giving sign and posting a picture on your social media using the hashtag #BUDayofGiving. 

 

Make a Gift 

Our goal is for the Butler community to make 1,000 gifts over 1,855 minutes that will directly impact Butler students. There will be several matching challenges throughout the day offering opportunities to give back to a variety of areas of the University.

 

Become An Ambassador

We need your help! People are most likely to support Day of Giving when asked by a peer or friend. Sign up to be a Butler Day of Giving Ambassador and receive exclusive resources to share your Butler pride and encourage others to get involved on Day of Giving. 

 

Start a Challenge

As a Butler Day of Giving Ambassador, you also have the opportunity to create a giving challenge to support an area of interest to you. Create a challenge in celebration of your class year or a student group you were involved in. Show your Butler pride and encourage your friends and family to support your challenge in celebration of Butler Day of Giving.

 

Together, Bulldogs give back. Together, Bulldogs do more.

On average, a first-year student receives $17,000+ in financial assistance from the University. With your help, more students will receive the scholarships and financial aid they need. Gifts made to the General Scholarship Fund will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $20,000 on Day of Giving.

Sciences Expansion and Renovation Challenge
