Special Initiatives

Special initiatives are those that impact many areas of campus and provide support to a specific fund or project. Current special initiatives participating in Day of Giving are:

  • Live Mascot Program
Over the last decade, the Butler University Live Mascot Program has earned a reputation amongst our peers in higher education for being original and innovative. From industry awards to front page spreads, evening news features, and social media vitality, Butler Blue III "Trip" and his predecessors have worked hard to set Butler's Live Mascot Program apart from any other. All of this success has led to immeasurable notoriety to Butler and your support can help us do even more fun and exciting things to help advance the Butler name and mission.

  • Social Justice and Diversity Vocation Fellowship NetVUE Match
Social Justice and Diversity Vocational Fellowship is a new initiative designed to help Butler students connect their passions and future direction to some of our most complex global challenges. Making a gift to this initiative will help Butler faculty design courses to encourage students to identify themselves as difference makers in some of our most complex social justice and diversity challenges.
